Vote Process

• June 22 - Oct 5 - Period of Prayer and Discernment.  Educational material will be available on the church website. Members are encouraged to read the info and be in prayer about our decision.  Our church's Prayer Team will also be praying for discernment for our church each week through this time period.

• July 25 and 26 - 24 Hour Prayer Event for Bonaire Church.  One of the topics to be prayed over is our vote about our Future Path.

• End of August - a letter will be sent to all full members of Bonaire Church containing vote information and a sample ballot.

• September 1 - 28 - A devotional will be distributed in church to any who are interested.

• September 28 - Final Sunday to become a full member of Bonaire Church to be eligible to vote.

• Starting Sept 29 - Oct 5 - full members of Bonaire Church may come to the church to vote from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

• October 5 - In person voting time from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Ballots close. ​

The vote will be a simple majority vote between remaining independent or joining the Global Methodist Church.  Ballots will need to be submitted to the church office in person during the week of Sept 29- Oct 5.
