In the course of its research the Future Path Group studied several options for Bonaire Church before deciding the two best options were remaining independent or joining the Global Methodist Church. Other denominations that were exploded included the Free Methodist Church, the Association of Independent Methodist Churches, and the Congregational Methodist Churches.
